Joshua Novak lives and works in American midwestern suburbia with his wife, daughter, dog, and garden. He can make cheese from scratch and worries that cheese won’t be allowed on space flights due to air filtration contamination. The future space transport of fermentation in all of its forms worries Novak, who also enjoys making hot sauces, pickling, and smelling sourdough starter. In many early languages, there is no difference between words meaning magic and words meaning fermentation.

Karim Ragab is an author from Cleveland, Ohio. He has written three novels, including an experimental work “I AM TUMBLING THROUGH A DREAM.” He plans on getting his books published in the near future, and looks forward to a career as a novelist. Even if he is never published, he is glad to have written his books. He enjoys nature, and his favorite color is yellow, and his favorite animal is the peregrine falcon.

M.C. St. John is the author of the short story collection Other Music. His stories have appeared, as if by luck or magic, in Aphelion, Bronzeville Bee, Coffin Bell, Ghostlight, Oddity Prodigy Productions, Tangled Tree Publishing, and Transmundane Press.
